About The artesia hotel

Tucked away in a quiet street in the trendy East London neighborhood of Dalston, The Artesia Hotel is a slick converted warehouse that offers 30 airy rooms with luxurious yet understated furnishings and fixtures. We highlighted the industrial bones of the building with warm and rustic finishes to give you a homey, cosmopolitan boutique hotel. Our rooftop pool, restaurant and bar, and other amenities make us one of London’s most entertaining and comfortable accommodations. We are a five-minute walk from Dalston Junction station, where you can take the Overground to various tube lines that run throughout west and central London.

Designed for the global citizen, The Artesia Hotel was inspired by co-owner and Dalston native Bethany Rawlings’ love for mid-century modern design. She’d become a fan of it while getting her master’s degree in Architecture in Los Angeles, California. Her passion paired well with fellow owner and childhood friend Oliver Sears’ penchant for Scandinavian aesthetics.

Named after the sunny neighborhood Bethany lived in during her time in the States, The Artesia Hotel balances the natural textures and bright decorative accents of California with the minimal design and neutral tones of Northern Europe. More than a synthesis of tastes, The Artesia Hotel is meant to be both a second home and an homage to the metamorphosis of globalized cities everywhere.
